established in 2002 and have since been busy touring West Michigan and providing much needed music at a variety
of events and venues.

Jenny
Lee, first violinist of the Heritage Hill String Quartet, is an active
violinist and violist. She was the concertmaster at Grand Valley State
University where she recently graduated with her Bachelor of Arts with
performance honors in Music and a minor in East Asian studies. Under the
guiding hands of teachers from the Grand Rapids Symphony as well as the Lansing
Symphony, Jenny has, since a young age, been a very busy chamber musician in
Michigan as well as South Korea. Prior to joining Heritage Hill in 2004, Jenny
played in such ensembles as the Corona String Quartet, Seoul Trio and Saka
Strings as well taking part in honors orchestras. In addition to playing and
performing, Jenny currently teaches at Meyer Music and is in her ninth year
giving private and group violin and viola lessons through her home studio and
is the director of music at her church.
Natalie Hockamier – Violin II

Natalie Hockamier, a founding member of the Heritage
Hill String Quartet, began playing the violin in her 5th grade music program.
She has studied privately with members of the Grand Rapids Symphony, including
Dave Haaland, Diane McElfish, Chris Martin, and Christina Fong. Recently she
has studied with Malcolm Brannen at Grand Rapids Community College, where she
is pursuing a degree in music education. She recently won an award at
that school for outstanding achievement in music. Natalie holds a degree
in botany from the University of Michigan and has played in the U of M Campus
Philharmonic and Pops Orchestras. She has been a member of the West Shore
Symphony Orchestra in Muskegon since 2002 and has performed with both the
Traverse City and Holland Symphony Orchestras. Natalie has been giving private
violin lessons for the past eight years, and feels very fortunate to have a
great job playing and teaching music.
Jennifer Alman – Viola

Active as an orchestral player, chamber musician, and
teacher, Jennifer Alman is a 2007 graduate of the Longy School of Music,
where she earned the Master of Music degree in Viola Performance as a student
of Roger Tapping. While living in the Boston area, she served as
Principal Viola with the Civic Symphony of Boston, and performed with several
other ensembles including the Brockton Symphony and Hingham Symphony.
Prior to beginning her studies in Boston, she attended Grand Valley State
University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she studied violin with Hyunsai Lee
and Diane McElfish and viola with Robert Byrens, graduating in 2004 with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and a minor in German. Jennifer performs
regularly with numerous ensembles in the West Michigan area including the West
Shore Symphony Orchestra and Traverse Symphony Orchestra, and currently teaches
at Meyer Music, Lakeshore Baptist Academy, and Cornerstone University.
Alicia Gregorian-Sawyers – Cello
A recent graduate of New England Conservatory, Alicia Gregorian has performed in Avery Fisher Hall, Boston's Jordan Hall, and at Harvard's Sanders Theater. She has appeared at the Mostly Mozart Festival, Festival De Musica (Costa Rica), Sound Encounters Contemporary Music Festival, and as a member of the International Chamber Soloists. While at N.E.C. she was selected to participate in the Beethoven, Shostakovich, and Bartok string quartet seminars.
